He's Back! The NBA Superstar Collector Strikes Again—Devin Booker Can't Resist...
The Phoenix Suns are in serious danger.

After losing 8 of their last 10 games, they now sit at 27-30, ranking 11th in the Western Conference, 1.5 games behind the Kings for the final Play-In spot. The gap is widening, and their chances of making the postseason are slipping away.

This wouldn’t be as humiliating if the Suns weren’t the team paying the highest luxury tax bill in the NBA. But they are. Owner Mat Ishbia must be in absolute agony right now.

With a total payroll of $234.5 million, the Suns have the second-highest team salary in the league, trailing only the Timberwolves ($237.7 million). But when it comes to the luxury tax, Phoenix stands alone at the top—their projected luxury tax bill is $188.5 million, a league-high by a massive margin.
And for what? A bottom-tier defense (26th in defensive rating at 115.8) and one of the worst rebounding teams in the league (25th in rebounds per game at 42.4).
The real issue? The Suns' "Big Three" just doesn’t work.
- Kevin Durant: 26.9 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 4.2 APG
- Devin Booker: 26.1 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 6.7 APG
- Bradley Beal: 17.9 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 3.5 APG
They haven't been able to reach their full potential together, and as a result, Phoenix is drowning in inconsistency, defensive struggles, and chemistry issues.
But forget basketball for a moment—because Devin Booker is making headlines for an entirely different reason.
Booker and the NBA’s "Toughest Defender"
Recently, Booker was spotted having dinner with his ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner at an upscale restaurant.
For those unaware, Jenner has built a legendary reputation in the NBA world—not as a player, but as the ultimate "NBA Superstar Collector." Over the years, some of the league’s brightest stars have fallen under her spell, and let’s just say... many of them never recovered.
Booker, however, doesn’t seem to mind.
Rumors of a potential reunion between the two have been swirling for over a year. Back in 2023, TMZ reported that there were signs of a rekindled romance, and now, the latest dinner photos only add fuel to the fire.
And that’s not the only off-court distraction making waves.
More Than Just Basketball? Booker’s Social Media Slip-Up
Booker’s fascination with off-court attractions doesn’t stop at Kendall Jenner.
Recently, news broke that a well-known American restaurant chain—famous for its scantily-clad waitresses and lively atmosphere—was filing for bankruptcy. Booker’s reaction? A heartfelt plea on social media:
"Please don’t go."
It didn’t take long for fans to connect the dots. While the Suns are fighting for their postseason survival, their supposed leader is out here lamenting the downfall of a chain best known for its "eye-catching" service staff.
And of course, this only reignited a long-standing debate—would Booker be even better if he adopted Kevin Durant’s laser-focused mentality?
The Durant Blueprint: "No Distractions, Just Hoops"
Unlike Booker, Durant keeps his personal life completely under wraps.
KD has always been all about basketball, rarely letting off-court distractions interfere with his game. His approach? "No women, no distractions—just hoops."
And it's hard to argue with the results.
Durant’s singular focus on basketball has helped him become:
- A 2× NBA champion
- A 2× NBA Finals MVP
- A 14× NBA All-Star
- A 4× scoring champion
Booker, on the other hand? Talented, yes—but does he have the same killer mindset?
For years, NBA legends have stressed the importance of mental discipline. If Booker were to channel all his energy into basketball, there’s no telling how far he could go.
But instead, he’s out here diving back into his past relationships and expressing his love for bankrupt restaurants.
The Suns Are Running Out of Time
With 25 games left, the Suns need to turn things around fast.
The West is brutally competitive, and every loss pushes them closer to disaster. If they fail to even make the Play-In Tournament, this could go down as one of the most embarrassing seasons in franchise history.
For now, all eyes remain on Devin Booker.
Will he lock in and help Phoenix salvage the season? Or will the distractions continue to mount as the Suns' playoff hopes fade away?
The clock is ticking.
